About Randy

As a senior project manager at 1898 & Co., Randy leads critical cybersecurity projects and works with critical infrastructure clients to help educate employees on the importance of security in everyday life.

Randy graduated from Southern Union State Community College and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at Faulkner University. He has experience supporting clients across the public and private sectors to develop operational technology (OT) practices and procedures, including working with several large utility nuclear projects. Randy’s work has taken him around the world, including a project in the former Czechoslovakia, where he was instrumental in developing and deploying a new robotic (AI) process for a manufacturing facility. Randy spent the last four years on-site at a federal institution headquartered in Washington, D.C., performing oversight of a large OT project.

What motivates Randy
Supporting clients on their cybersecurity journey keeps Randy motivated. He believes 1898 & Co. is unique in its structure, as there is always a fellow employee-owner to reach out to when needed. Being surrounded by so much talent, he receives insight on many different topics as well as strengthens his network. As a lifelong learner, this structure serves as constant motivation.

A little bit about Randy
Randy considers himself an outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoys handyman work and building decks. He is a minister and has the honor of preaching, marrying and performing premarital counseling for young couples.
