Rick leads international business operations, identifying opportunities and driving growth across the Middle East, United Kingdom, Canada, South America, Europe and Africa. With a career dedicated to global energy market strategy, business development and market research, he has helped clients navigate complex investment decisions and decarbonization initiatives in an evolving energy landscape.

Rick began his career as a market consultant before moving into sales and business development, where he demonstrated a strong talent for business creation. As the first hire in the oil, gas and chemical consulting division of 1898 & Co., he played a key role in building out the group and shaping its strategic direction. Today, his work spans international market expansion, business development and operational strategy, helping 1898 & Co. continue to grow its global presence.

When he’s not traveling or spending time with family, he enjoys gardening, appreciating the contrast between the long-term nature of his projects and the immediate satisfaction of seeing a garden take shape.
