As a director at 1898 & Co., Alex focuses on bringing leading technology solutions to the critical infrastructure industry, helping clients improve their operations and get the most out of their investments.

Alex attended the University of Florida, where he studied mechanical engineering and earned his MBA. Starting in process controls and automation, he has held a variety of roles helping clients implement predictive control systems, industrial data management platforms and instrumentation technology across multiple industries. With over 25 years of experience in technology, industrial and manufacturing services, he brings a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation within critical infrastructure industries.

Alex helps clients develop actionable plans to get the most out of their technology investments.  He works with clients to understand where investments in new systems and platforms should be made and where enhancements and optimizations can be made to improve existing systems. From creating strategic road maps to leading system implementation and configuration, Alex is with his clients from the beginning through ongoing operations.

Alex is driven by the amount of change that’s occurring in the critical infrastructure industry. As each client pursues a digital transformation at their own pace, he is always interested in looking at how each industry applies technology and operations. Alex sees the work he does make a real difference by changing the way people work and bringing technology and automation to make processes more efficient.

A little bit about Alex
Outside of work, Alex is a scuba diving instructor and enjoys bringing new people to the scuba environment. When not under the water, he is flying over it as a pilot on the side, taking the opportunity to go flying whenever he can.
