About Chris

Chris is a data science consultant with 1898 & Co., bringing a diverse background that bridges government, finance and advanced analytics. He has a doctorate in social and political sciences from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Kansas. His early career involved work on Capitol Hill, at the U.S. Department of State, and for the U.S. Army, before moving into the financial sector. There, he specialized in predictive modeling, developing an algorithmic trading platform, raising a private placement and serving as managing member of a fund. Since joining 1898 & Co., Chris has focused on applying emergent technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), to help clients solve complex challenges and unlock new opportunities.
