About Jeff
As a project manager at 1898 & Co., Jeff works on many aspects of the electric power system but maintains a focus on holistic distribution system planning and power system modeling and analysis.
Jeff attended Missouri State University, where he studied mathematics, and then went on to study electrical and electronics engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Starting his career as a distribution engineer, he eventually moved into utility consulting, focusing on distribution system planning and analysis. Jeff has worked with some of the largest electric utility providers in the U.S., helping them to further their critical capital investment programs.
How Jeff helps his clients
Jeff leads major projects helping clients make system investment decisions supported by careful analysis conducted in high-fidelity distribution power flow models. Working to make his clients successful, Jeff aims to understand the bigger picture amid all the technical details and aligns his work to support the mission and vision of his clients.
What motivates Jeff
Jeff is committed to delivering quality work that not only supports the initiatives of his clients, but that he can also walk away from with a sense of pride and accomplishment. His biggest goal is for clients to say that the work he completed was what they were looking for, and that it provides value to their business and future development. Jeff also enjoys the diversity of his work and the opportunities to continue to learn and evolve along with the power grid.
A little bit about Jeff
Jeff will take any opportunity to watch a good movie, especially if Quentin Tarantino is sitting in the director’s chair. A recent transplant to Chicago, he is exploring the city through its food and getting out on the lake whenever possible.
