About Jason
As a senior managing consultant at 1898 & Co., Jason solves complex industrial cybersecurity challenges across the critical infrastructure industries.
Jason has degrees in law enforcement and information technology as well as a master’s in communications and information systems management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. With a lifelong interest in computers and security, he brings over 20 years of professional cybersecurity experience across various critical infrastructure sectors such as defense and finance, and now with 1898 & Co. he specializes in operational technology. His involvement in different sectors and experience with different specialized systems allows him to apply a multitude of skill sets with a genuine passion for issues within the critical infrastructure space.

Jason helps organizations build cybersecurity programs with the flexibility to continuously evolve alongside the threat landscape. He brings together cross-functional teams across the client’s organization to build a tailored plan that balances safety, security and resiliency that can be successfully implemented within technical and non-technical constraints. As technology continues to evolve Jason brings in leading methodologies to help clients stay ahead of threats including experience with Consequence-driven Cyber-informed Engineering (CCE).

He is driven to increase interest in cybersecurity throughout the critical infrastructure industry to gain a deeper understanding of the role it plays in national security. Jason is passionate about researching and proposing new ways to approach cybersecurity, including the cultural and social aspects.

He hosts a weekly one-hour virtual gathering where employee owners can collaborate over cybersecurity topics.
